OCTOBER 4 - NOVEMBER 8 - 6 Week Belly Dance Fit Program

Wednesday, 6PM - 7PM PDT

Learn the empowering and magical art of Belly Dance! In this 6 week program, you will learn the beginning level movements of Tribal Fusion style Belly Dance by Fiona Rose.

We will learn how to do shimmies, hip circles, beautiful arm movements and more! Plus we will be toning the body with fitness elements in each class, to strengthen the arms, belly and legs.

This form of dance fitness boosts feelings of confidence, body love, self esteem and healthy self expression. Students will learn how to dance to a fusion of music styles, doing movements that are low impact and feel good on the body. Each week we will learn new moves, and have fun in the sun!

What Does A Typical Day Look Like?

In each belly dance class, students will experience a full body stretching and movement warm up to prepare them for belly dance fitness. We will then move through our songs, each one choreographed to teach a different aspect of beginning level Belly Dance. This will include the fitness song, incorporating exercises for balance, strengthening and core strength. Before ending each class, students get the chance to challenge themselves to dancing in a traditional Tribal Circle and lead 1-2 moves for the group. This is a dynamic exercise for increasing body awareness, positive community, and boosting confidence levels. We end each class with a full body stretching routine and relaxation breathing for a full body and mind experience.
